Obama is a “pragmatic progressive”

He is apparently unaware of the genetic link between pragmatism and progressivism.
One of my recurring themes is that liberalism (progressivism) is based on the denial of an objective reality outside our minds that we can know. That’s philosophical pragmatism.
The first progressive thinkers were the first pragmatists–James, Pierce and Dewey.
But to an ill-educated man like Obama, he has now invented this whole new concept of the progressive who is also a pragmatist.
It’s good that this man will have a job come January 20th. Otherwise his family might starve!

Seems a lot of people are seeing through this Obamaism, that “pragamatic progressive” is the same thing as “compassionate conservative”
The liberals thought they were getting rid of the Bush regime? HA!
