DiPietro–51; Gallivan 3
October 25, 2010. East Aurora, NY. State Senate candidate David DiPietro (Tea, 59th), today DEMOLISHED his Albany Insider opponent Pat Gallivan in a WGRZ debate that was live-streamed on the web. You have to see it to believe it. In football parlance DiPietro won, 51-3.
*Gallivan once again refused to address the state report on the Ralph Phillips escape and denied that the report criticizes him “personally.” That contradicts a Buffalo News editorial that stated: “The commission’s criticisms date back to the administration of . . . Patrick M. Gallivan.†(8/10/06)
*DiPietro challenged Gallivan to name a single government agency he would abolish–he did not name one. DiPietro has called for elimination of 800 public authorities.
*After Gallivan said he had tea party support, DiPietro challenged him to name a single tea party activist who supports him-JUST ONE–Gallivan could not.
*Channel 2′s Scott Brown asked Gallivan about why he illegally took double dip pension money after his waiver expired–Gallivan ignored the question.
*Gallivan refused to respond to DiPietro’s charge that he is the tool of Albany lobbyists such as Tom Reynolds and Vic Farley. Farley worked for disgraced former majority leader Joe Bruno and is looking for new contacts in the state senate.
