Today’s News has an article that illustrates the difference between Carl Paladino’s progressive-liberal approach to American’s Number One problem, its K-12 government schools, and my Liberty Movement approach.
As I state in my book, there is no political solution to the dreadful schools but there is a direct action solution, a mass simultaneous withdrawal from these wretched places (pending that, a family-by-family withdrawal for the sake of your own kids).
Chapter one in my book is called “The Government School Crime Wave,” wherein I point out a FACT totally ignored by the media, the massive amount of crime in and around the schools or committed by students elsewhere.
When I heard that a 14-year old Buffalo boy had shot a 16-year old to death, I figured with 99.99% certainty that the shooter was a government school student. It was even worse than that. The boy allegedly brought a gun to school in April but escaped punishment.
Carl is quoted in the article criticizing the lax response by the schools. To me, the lack of a response was typical of how bureaucrats act.
As I explain in my book, a bureaucrat is someone who has power over us. By virtue of that power, we cannot hold them responsible. If we could, we would have the power over them and they wouldn’t be bureaucrats anymore. Aristotle’s law of non-contradiction would be violated. That’s impossible.
But Carl thinks he can do the impossible, make irresponsible bureaucrats responsible. He thinks he can make the primordial progressive-liberal program in America, government schools, work. Good luck with that Carl. Progressives everywhere are wishing you well.
