New Supreme Court Appointment!!

…………..[yawn]……..another non-story that the MSM will be tripping over themselves on. I know what you’re thinking - “how can a new Supreme Court appointment not be a huge story?”
Because, if you’re a Jeffersonian republican like me, you know that the federal judicial branch is not the key to restoring limited-government in America. It’s just a dog and pony show for self-important lawyers to concern themselves with while our nation goes down the path to ruin as all Empires eventually do. The true path to liberty will require a populist movement that forces all the branches of the federal government (starting with the House and spreading to the rest) as well as the states to reclaim their proper constitutional role. Putting all your faith in 9 political appointees (or 5) is a waste of anyone’s time who is serious about “restoring the republic.”

Congress can constitutionally limit the jurisdiction of the federal courts … now that’s something to get excited about.

Congress should start with killing the commerce clause.
