Finally, Freedom in New York

Political Class Dismissed, the Buffalo-based blog that serves as the war room of the tea party movement, invites all New Yorkers to join with us in celebrating the week that we tasted real freedom from big government. With the State Senate evenly split 31-31, State government is paralyzed and temporarily unable to impose new taxes, regulations and penalties on us. The least free state in the Union will at least not get any more oppressive during this glorious period of gridlock.

We are in fact enjoying a billion dollar gridlock tax cut as counties around the state have been unable to gain approval for various “temporary” taxes that suck our economy dry and force our family, friends and neighbors to leave the state.

Enjoy this rare gust of freedom as it will soon blow over when some degenerate politician sells his vote for power and pelf.

Don’t be conned by the editorial writers. Gridlock is good and he or she who breaks it, and allows the Senate to pass a billion dollars in new and renewed taxes, will be an odious villain indeed.

Want to break free from big government permanently? Plan to attend the Fourth of July Tea Party in your locality. Before you go, read the 12 point plan for direct citizen action. Bring 100 direct action fliers with you to the tea party.

And remember, “Who would be free themselves must strike the first blow.”

–Frederick Douglass
