Is the 9/12 march astroturf?

I hate to ask this since we are promoting it on this site for free. But a lot of the sponsors are well-funded Republican groups that you want to take a shower after bumping into. Definite Koch money there.

We might as well face it Jim, no matter what side of the fence you are on, you’re going to find nefarious characters that have worked in the past against you when they had power. All the more reason to be wary of their intentions and stay focused on the goal.

You know what- there probably are some well funded Republican groups that are advertising this and hoping that it will help them in the 2010 election.

BUT, no, it is not astroturf when you have regular people like myself that care enough to show up & be counted for.

I am a registered Republican BUT I’m fed up with all of them! I want them all out in 2010. I think the majority of the tea party movement feels the same way.

When I attend tea parties, or see town hall protests I know it’s not “fake”- it’s real, everyday people that are fed up with our elected officials not listening to us.

We must take a stand…there will always be corrupt people on any side.

Why not use the money to do something useful like a conference on using free market solutions to provide affordable healthcare or how to ensure coverage of the 46 million uninsured that the left keeps harping on.

Hey James O. Show up to the event and decide for yourself. Take a real hard look around at the particpants..the people who have sacrificed their time and personal finances to attend this protest. WE THE PEOPLE are the real deal…it doesn’t matter what others think. The one’s on the right side of history will be making it loud and clear to Congress and the current Obama Administration our complete discontent and utter disdain to the policies being propagated against the will of the American people. Democratic political opperatives, union thugs, radical leftist will undoubtly attempt to disrupt, discredit, and cause havoc on 912. We will prevail in the end. The New Revolution has already begun…prepare for a good house cleaning and don’t forget your rubber gloves.

I think to much time can be spent on defending ourselves and that’s what they want that’s the game.

What I can tell you James is only from my own personal experience. We have a small but fired up group of housewives, retired seniors, a couple of young and middle age professionals, a pastor and a professor but no professional or career political hacks. I’m a 50 something artist, registered independent, myself and still waiting for my check from what I’ve been told are those big Repubic organizers. Truth is we have one Repubic organizer and I respect her drive, enthusiasm and passion but I don’t trust Repubics any more than I trust the Dems.

Where were all of the tea parties when Bush was driving up the deficit and starting wars?

  8. James OstrowskiNo Gravatar Says:

The libertarians including me were protesting everything Bush did. Then, the Ron Paul Revolution actually became the precusor to the tea party movement.

Where the conseravtives were, I don’t know.
